Promotional poster for student theatre performance
I was asked by my professor, also the theatre instructor for the Syracuse University in Florence program, to create a promotional poster for the semesterly student theatre performance. The theme for Fall 2011 was futurism, so I tried to incorporate futurist typography and design inspiration into the poster. I also wanted the poster to be simple and use mainly typography because typography and the free-play of words were such a big part of the futurist movement, and because the play itself was a variety show of a bunch of different skits.
